Privacy policy

Chem IRL Solutions is an AI customer support agent that answers customer emails on behalf of businesses. The product is currently in private beta; this site exists to explain the product, collect beta access requests, and demonstrate the agent on sample data.

Waitlist email. If you request beta access we store the email address you submit, when you submitted it, and roughly where the request came from. We use it solely to contact you about Chem IRL Solutions access and product updates. It is stored in our database (hosted in the EU) and never sold or shared for advertising.

Demo inputs.Text you paste into the “test the agent” demo is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply and is not stored by Chem IRL Solutions after the response is returned. Please don't paste real personal data into the demo.

Usage and abuse signals. We collect aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics (Vercel Analytics, no cross-site tracking) and short-lived, hashed network identifiers used only to rate-limit the public demo.

The upcoming Chem IRL Solutions product connects to a business's support inbox via the Gmail API to read incoming customer emails and send replies that the business has approved or configured for auto-send.

Chem IRL Solutions's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular, when the Gmail integration launches:

• Gmail data is used only to provide the email-answering features the workspace owner configures — never for advertising, and never sold.
• Gmail data is not used to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
• OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest; access within Chem IRL Solutions is restricted to automated processing, with human access limited to security, abuse, or support cases with the customer's consent.
• Disconnecting an inbox revokes Chem IRL Solutions's access and deletes stored credentials.

We rely on a small set of subprocessors to run Chem IRL Solutions:

• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and AI gateway
• Supabase — database hosting (EU region)
• AI model providers (via Vercel AI Gateway) — generating draft replies; API inputs are not used by these providers to train their models
• Google — Gmail API (once the integration launches)
• Stripe — payments (once billing launches)

Waitlist entries are kept until you ask to be removed or the beta program ends. Demo rate-limit records expire automatically within days. Once the full product launches, customer workspace data will be retained for the life of the account and deleted on account closure.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us and we'll action it.
